Description

Located an hour and a half outside of San Diego near the border with Mexico, Valley of the Moon is a remote climbing area reminiscent of Joshua Tree. Valley of the Moon features over 40 sport and trad routes on rock that ranges from chossy to excellent. The weather here is moderated by its higher elevation, making it a decent southern California destination in all but the hottest months.
